Putters Athletes of the Week for 4/3/25
POPPY WALLBANK
Lakota East Athletics is proud to recognize senior POPPY WALLBANK as the Putters Sports Grill Spring Athlete of the Week for East Girls Lacrosse.
Through just three games this season, Poppy has been an offensive powerhouse, tallying 11 goals and 4 assists, including a dominant 7-goal performance in a 17-7 victory over Mason.
As a team captain, Poppy leads by example with her relentless work ethic and dedication to both games and practices. Her commitment to off-season training has been exceptional, and the results are evident in her strong start to the season.
The Putters Sports Grill Athlete of the Week award highlights student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in competition, leadership, and commitment to their sport.
Poppy’s outstanding play and dedication continue to inspire her teammates and contribute to the success of Lakota East Girls Lacrosse.
AIDEN MCCALL
Lakota East Athletics proudly recognizes junior AIDEN MCCALL as the Putters Sports Grill Spring Athlete of the Week for East Boys Lacrosse.
Aiden has stepped into the faceoff specialist role this season and has been a dominant force in every game. Through just four contests, he has amassed an impressive 42 faceoff wins and 27 ground balls, leading both categories in the Greater Miami Conference (GMC).
The Putters Sports Grill Athlete of the Week honor highlights athletes who demonstrate outstanding performance, leadership, and dedication to their sport.
Aiden’s impact on the field has been crucial to the Thunderhawks' strong start, and his continued dominance will be key throughout the season.
