Putters Athletes of the Week for 9/5/2024
REAGAN GILBERT
Reagan is a senior on the East Girls Tennis Team.
Reagan is a great example of perseverance and determination. This senior player finds ways to overcome injury setbacks and succeed on the court. And success she has found! Reagan's record is 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the GMC pulling out a big win over Mason with her doubles partner, Mary Claire Schadek. We are excited to see what the future has in store for Reagan! One thing we know for sure is that Reagan will continue to lead and approach any situation, on and off the court, with confidence and determination!
CHAUNCEY PECK
Chauncey is a senior on the East Football Team.
Senior running back Chauncey Peck contributed in a big way in last Friday's win over Mason. At the 10:02 mark in the third quarter with the ball on the East 2-yard line, Peck rushed left and down the sideline for a 98-yard TD and the longest individual run from scrimmage in the 28-year history of Lakota East Football. Peck also scored in the first quarter on a 15-yard run and finished with 116 yards rushing.
