Putter's Lakota East Athletes of the Week for 9/22/22
ANDIE MADDING
Andie is a senior on the East Girls Golf Team
Andie is a spark plug for the East girl's team. She is a natural-born leader. Andie is always positive and in a great mood. She brings joy to the team with her bubbly personality and laugh. Andie makes each of her teammates more comfortable, allowing them to play to their fullest potential.
BEN ISOM
Ben is a junior on the East Boys Golf Team
Ben has jumped up to the Varsity Black team in recent weeks and contributed to East scores right away. He has worked extremely hard in the off-season, on the course, and in the weight room. His hard work really came to fruition this week at the GMC tourney. In Ben’s first appearance at the Conference Championship, he shot an 80-75 to make FIRST TEAM ALL GMC. In his 2nd round, he played steady, clean golf to secure a solo 2ndplace finish in the TEAM competition as the Hawks were in a battle with Lakota West, Sycamore, and Fairfield for 2nd place.
