East Softball opened the season on March 23rd with a 21-0 win at Hampton.
Haley Thompson collected three hits in three at-bats, as Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks defeated Tennessee Varsity Lady Vikings 9-3 on Saturday, 3/23. Thompson doubled in the fourth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the second inning. Kaleigh Crawford earned the win for Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out four and walking two.
East fell in the final game on Saturday, 3/23 to Daniel Boone HS by a final score of 11-0.

Schulte tripled in the first inning, doubled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the third inning. Damen earned the win for Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks. The right-handed pitcher allowed two hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking two.
East Softball went to 2-0 in the GMC on March 28th with a 13-1 win at Colerain. Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks scored five runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning. Leah Arnett singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Hailey Hensley doubled, scoring two runs and Karli Damen doubled, scoring one run. Damen earned the win for Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking none.
Halina Schulte hit three home runs and drove in seven as Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks defeated Cooper Varsity Jaguars 13-1 on Friday, 3/29. Schulte homered in the seventh, first, and fourth innings.
Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks could not keep up with Granville Varsity Blue Aces falling 11-6 on Saturday, 3/30. Lilly Banks led Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup.
In the nightcap, Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks won big over Simon Kenton Varsity Pioneers 14-4 on Saturday. Crawford earned the win for Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks. They gave up five hits and four runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking none. Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks accumulated 15 hits in the game. Thompson and Munoz were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks while hitting back-to-back.
