Softball Tops Simon Kenton

Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks jumped into the lead in the top of the sixth when Amber Munoz singled, scoring one run, and Thompson homered to left field, scoring two runs.
Kaleigh Crawford earned the win for Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks. The reliever allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking one. Brown took the loss for Simon Kenton. The reliever went one and one-third innings, surrendering zero runs on one hit, striking out one and walking two. Karli Damen started in the circle for Lakota East Varsity Thunderhawks. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and five runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Lauren McIntosh stepped in the circle first for Simon Kenton. The starting pitcher gave up nine hits and seven runs (five earned) over five and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking three.
