The EL CAPORAL Team of the Week - Academic Quiz Team

This week's CAPORAL, Lakota East Team of the Week, is the Thunderhawk Academic Quiz Team.
These East "brainy's" battle against the other 9 GMC schools each year in a knowledge base competition. There are two matches against each team. The winner of the regular season and end-of-season GMC tournament determines the overall championship. A huge amount of time and study are involved which results in a lot of fun and cohesiveness among each team. The quiz teams' final results are part of the GMC All-Sports Championship. East has earned the GMC title twice, in 2001 and 2006.
East is coached by Rich Schmaltz and John Severns
