This week's CAPORAL, Lakota East Team of the Week is the Thunderhawk Girls Basketball Team
The East Girls Hoopsters (6-1, 3-0) are picking up where they left off last year. After an extremely successful 2021-22, the Hawks are showing early signs that this season might be special as well. After three league games, the team sits atop the GMC leaderboard. Thursday night East defeated last season's state runner-up (Mason) by a score of 52-48, making a statement that this is "our house"! There are many, many games to go, but the Hawks look promising in 2022-2023!
