East Boys Basketball standout senior Trey Perry has been named the District 15 Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season, a prestigious recognition of his exceptional talent and leadership on the court.
Perry dominated Cincinnati Division 1 boys’ basketball this season, leading all scorers with an impressive 22.4 points per game. Additionally, he showcased his all-around game by leading the GMC in assists, averaging 4.3 per contest.
A pillar of consistency and excellence, Perry is East's second all-time leading scorer, trailing only former University of Miami standout James Dews. As a two-time First Team All-GMC honoree, he has set a high bar for performance and is poised to earn additional conference honors following the 2024-25 season.
In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Perry has committed to a basketball scholarship at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he looks forward to continuing his athletic and academic career.
Adding to the excitement, the Hawks will compete for a District Title on Saturday against Centerville at Mason High School, with tipoff scheduled for noon. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team in this pivotal matchup.
